Is GMGP Halal-Certified?
Yes, all our Wagyu, Angus and Duck cuts are 100% Halal-certified.

We Understand. We Respect.
GMGP is proudly based in Lakemba, the heart of Sydney’s Muslim community.
Just around the corner from our headquarters stands one of the area’s largest mosques — a daily reminder of the diversity and values we serve.
Many of our customers and neighbours are Muslim, and we take pride in understanding and respecting their dietary requirements.
From sourcing to preparation, we follow strict Halal handling protocols to ensure safety, trust, and peace of mind for every household.
Our relationship with the local community is built not just on quality meat — but on mutual respect, transparency, and care.

But how can Korean owners run a Halal butcher?
We hear that often — here’s the full truth:

Our Wagyu supplier, JAC Wagyu, raises cattle freely at
Gineroi Rd, Bingara NSW 2404,
in open paddocks without feedlots.

Cattle are processed at John Dee Warwick Pty Ltd (QLD),
one of Australia’s largest Halal-certified abattoirs,
where certified Muslim slaughtermen carry out the work.

From there, we receive the chilled Wagyu directly,
and carefully hand-cut it into Korean BBQ styles —
No middleman, No pre-packaged tricks.
